Mallorca Spring 2018 for Japanese clothing brand Dessin
This time, the archetypal 'Dessin family' are holidaying in Mallorca. The brief specifically demanded this precise composition, with multiple adjustments of train size, train colour, background buildings colours, even down to the texture of the brushmarks in places, not to mention minute adjustments regarding the positioning of the train on the track. Oh, and sunlight streaming in from the right. And don't let's forget the positioning of the parasols and the figures in the background. It took 4 roughs before getting this one right.
But they were absolutely delighted with the result, as I am. And artwork for Summer 2018 has already been completed and approved by the client. I'm already looking forward to Autumn...
